The present study aims to analyze the main implications of a technical-economic and environmental nature associated to the production of photovoltaic energy, one of the renewable sources for the production of electricity, which currently presents the highest rates of growth not only worldwide, but also in Europe and in Italy. The analysis aims to explore, in particular, the set of issues associated with the disposal and/or recycling of photovoltaic panels obsolete, in order to take a sustainable path in terms of techno-economic and socioenvironmental.
