This paper addresses the issue of integrated digital representation as a tool for reading and analysing complex urban and territorial realities, such as the Amalfi coast landscapes. In particular, the communicative potential of a graphic-informative approach is highlighted. This assumes a fundamental meaning in the management processes of urban systems and multiform territorial contexts. Going over some significant examples, aimed at graphing material and immaterial phenomena of the investigated realities, we intend to highlight the key role of digital representations structured on superimposable and correlated information layouts. The paper underlines, therefore, those graphic systems conceived to visualize and communicate integrated data sets with great immediacy that facilitate and simplify the monitoring and management processes of complex landscapes, thus contributing to their enhancement and sustainability.

Abstract
This paper addresses the issue of integrated digital representation as a tool for reading and analysing complex urban and territorial realities, such as the Amalfi coast landscapes. In particular, the communicative potential of a graphic-informative approach is highlighted. This assumes a fundamental meaning in the management processes of urban systems and multiform territorial contexts. Going over some significant examples, aimed at graphing material and immaterial phenomena of the investigated realities, we intend to highlight the key role of digital representations structured on superimposable and correlated information layouts. The paper underlines, therefore, those graphic systems conceived to visualize and communicate integrated data sets with great immediacy that facilitate and simplify the monitoring and management processes of complex landscapes, thus contributing to their enhancement and sustainability.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
