The incorporation of digital technology in museums can offer a more engaging and interactive experience for visitors. It can also allow to reach a wider audience through resources and online platforms and to provide additional context and information about their collection. However, it is important for museums to consider how to integrate digital technology into their exhibits and ensure that it enriches rather than detracts from the overall visitor experience. By carefully incorporating digital experiences into their museums, they can provide visitors with a more immersive and engaging experience. Studying the intersection between digital technology and cultural heritage, this thesis aims to explore the potential of digital experiences in the cultural heritage sector and to identify best practices for creating immersive and educational digital experiences that engage and educate users. We will first examine the new technologies at the service of the cultural heritage sector and then move on to market numbers and target users. Abstract

Through a literature review and successful case studies, we will identify the key factors contributing to the effectiveness of digital experiences applied to cultural heritage and then develop a concrete implementation strategy of these technologies by sector actors. This Project identifies the characteristics of the supplies and services relating to the “Vide Gold” project.
